Denise Airey started the education service in July 1999 and since then has been instrumental in developing a professional customer-focused business. Denise possesses over 40 years’ experience in the health industry including speciality areas of Education, Resuscitation, Intensive Care, Midwifery and Thoracic/Respiratory Medicine.
Denise is honored to have been selected to represent ACN on the Australian Resuscitation Council (ARC) – Queensland Branch for over 10 years. She has been the Resuscitation Coordinator for a number of metropolitan hospitals, attending numerous cardiac arrests during her career. Denise has also been involved in retrievals and critical patient transfers as well as worked in rural hospitals.
Denise is a dynamic presenter with a passion for education! She has presented papers at national conferences including a paper on Professional Partnerships at a Royal College of Nursing Australia national conference. Denise has lectured for Australian Catholic University and Queensland University of Technology. She is driven by her main goal which is to provide high quality, cost-effective training which is accessible to all healthcare professionals. Denise believes education and training is the foundation upon which all strong organisations & careers are built.

Kylie has extensive experience in surgical nursing, medical nursing, spinal/rehabilitation care and education. Kylie’s expertise lies education and the delivery of ALS/PALS courses throughout Australia. Since commencing with HealthCare Training Service in 2017, Kylie has been instrumental in the continued improvement of our service. She is customer-focused with a commitment to deliver training in a support learning environment, providing confidence for candidates to enhance their knowledge and skills.
Viviana possesses extensive knowledge in physiology and pathophysiology, with specific interest in trauma and cardiorespiratory care. Before coming to Australia, Viviana was an Instructor/Trainer in Adult and Paediatric Advanced Life Support for the American Heart Association (AHA). Viviana has a number of publications to her credit, articles and books, in the field of airway management, oxygen therapy in emergency rooms and mechanical ventilation. Viviana’s profound knowledge base, her enthusiasm for education and her kind, caring demeanor culminates in her being a valued and sort after Education Consultant. We are fortunate to have Viviana on our team.
Annie s a highly valued clinician with extensive experience in Intensive Care Nursing as well as Cardiac and General Surgical Nursing. Annie is passionate about education and support for her colleagues with managing the deteriorating patience and cardiac arrest. Annie’s passion for resuscitation education has intensified over the recent years, having attended a number of resuscitation events.
Gina is a specialist in Intensive Care Nursing with has vast ICU experience, having worked in tertiary ICUs as well as large private ICUs. Gina has previously held the position as CN Resuscitation and was a member of the ICU Outreach Team attending medical emergencies and reviewing deteriorating patients throughout the hospital. In addition, Gina holds a leadership position as Chair of the Board of an Australian based company, and completed her Graduate Certificate in Business Management as well as the Australian Institute of Company Directors Course.
Jane possesses vast experience in Critical Care / Intensive Care nursing. She has attended and presented at numerous critical care and resuscitation conferences over many years. Jane is a much admired educator whose calming demeanor is able to instill confidence and bring out the best in her learners. Jane has been a valued member of our team for more than 20 years.
Jeremy possesses vast clinical experience in the specialty of Cardiac Nursing. Jeremy is a skilled clinician with a passion for providing education and ongoing professional development to his colleagues. Jeremy has also been lecturing in the Cardiac Rehab Program, which sees him combine his clinical knowledge with the desire to provide education in a supportive, encouraging and mutually respectful manner. Jeremy is a valued member of our team.
Miriam has developed exceptional knowledge and skills in all aspects of critical care nursing. Miriam has worked in tertiary facilities in both Brisbane and Sydney, as well as many years with RFDS and Retrieval Services, which has broadened her already extensive talents. Miriam provides care in a wholistic manner taking care of the physical, emotional and psychological needs of her patients. Miriam has held a number of managerial positions, however her passion lies in education and she excels in the provision of training to her colleagues, in which again she engages a wholistic approach to her course facilitation, providing a nurturing learning environment and placing students at ease to bring out the best of their abilities. Miriam is our Sydney based Education Consultant for which we are extremely grateful.
